The Hungry Season

Hunger in Hawai‘i has many faces, from keiki to kupuna. All sorts of people visit O‘ahu food pantries for their meals every week—maybe including neighbors, friends, or even family members. Help make sure they get enough to eat by supporting this year’s Foodbank Drive!

All food donations and monetary contributions stay on O‘ahu to restock O‘ahu’s food pantries. With every $10 donation, the Foodbank is able to provide 25 meals!

There are lots of ways to donate:

Food Donations: Please drop off canned and shelf-stable food donations to CTAHR’s food drive coordinator Dan Paguirigan (PMSO) in Gilmore 214 by May 15.

Monetary Donations: Cash or checks payable to “The Hawaii Foodbank” may be delivered to Dan as well. Online donations can be made on the Hawaii Foodbank website.

T-Shirt Sales: Purchase your official Hawaii Foodbank 30th Annual Food Drive t-shirt today—all proceeds go to help end hunger in Hawai‘i!

Fundraisers: Keep your eyes open for special yummy fundraiser opportunities that will be announced shortly!

In all instances, please note “UH Manoa, CTAHR” in the address field or make this gift on behalf of CTAHR to ensure that the college receives credit for your support. CTAHR has a great record of helping the Food Bank, so let’s uphold it during this season!
