Celebrating Fall 2022 Graduates at CTAHR Convocation!

Congratulations to our Summer and Fall 2022 CTAHR Graduates! On December 10, 2022 we celebrated those students who earned their undergraduate and graduate degrees at the Fall 2022 CTAHR Convocation. Our program included:

• A welcome message from Dr. Walter Bowen, CTAHR Associate Dean for Research

• A speech from our CTAHR Student Marshal, Shaina Young (B.S. in Molecular Biosciences and Biotechnology)

• An introduction to the CTAHR Alumni Association by Michelle Au

• And of course the presentation of graduates!

But what is CTAHR Convocation? This is a college-specific event, similar to commencement, but on a smaller and more intimate scale! This is a wonderful chance to celebrate our CTAHR graduates and have a chance to honor their accomplishments. At our CTAHR Convocation a selected student marshal also gives a speech! This can be any graduating CTAHR Student (undergraduate and/or graduate level) that is dedicated to our college and contributes to our community. Faculty and staff are also encouraged to attend to congratulate those in their department that are embarking on their next journey!

Mark your calendars! Our Spring 2023 CTAHR Convocation will be on May 6, 2023 at the Kennedy Theatre. Information on registration for faculty and staff and graduating students will be sent out later in the semester. We are looking forward to celebrating with our Spring 2023 graduates along with their ʻohana!
