Volunteer to Share Your Volunteer-Management Experiences

Volunteer to Share Your Volunteer-Management Experiences
Faculty and staff should have received an email from Associate Dean for Extension Kelvin Sewake announcing the CTAHR Volunteer Development Team survey. The volunteer development team is interested in learning more about people’s experiences as volunteer managers and is asking those who currently manage Extension volunteers for their input via a 10- to 20-minute anonymous and voluntary online survey. The team plans to use this information to develop resources and tools to better assist volunteer managers in their efforts to recruit, train, and evaluate volunteers and their volunteer programs. Survey responses may also be used to improve the volunteer experience for faculty, staff, and volunteers. Everyone with the relevant experience is encouraged to complete the survey. Begin by clicking on this SurveyMonkey link. If you have any questions, you can contact Heather Greenwood-Junkermeier at heather8@hawaii.edu or 808-244-3242 ext 226, or ask any of the other team members: Jeff Goodwin, Barbara DeBaryshe, Linda Cox, J.B. Friday, Becky Settlage, Nancy Ooki, Cynthia Nazario-Leary, or Joan Chong.
