Associate Dean Ania Wieczorek and her Gene-ius Day team recently completed their 6th year coordinating the Saturday Gene-iuses Program, an exciting science education series that offers classes once a month to engage a total of students in innovative hands-on science activities. In the 2017–2018 school year, some 300 students participated. The Saturday Gene-iuses Program has recently expanded to offer classes to middle school and high school students. On May 19, the Saturday Gene-iuses Program held a graduation ceremony for the middle and high school students to recognize their accomplishments. At the graduation event, students showcased what they have learned through hands-on demonstrations and posterboards that they put together. The
