If you haven’t checked out the COVID-19 Resources for Hawai‘i page at the CTAHR website, now’s the time to do it! You’ll find lots there that you can use yourself and even more that you can share with your stakeholders, from Food Safety and Sourcing to Mental Health and what to do At Home for the duration.
There are surveys growers can fill out offering their produce through pickup or delivery now that farmers’ markets are shut down, organizations offering help to those in need, reassurances about caring for your pet during the outbreak, and suggestions on how to survive and even thrive in a time of isolation and social distancing.
Even more important, you can help to populate the site with even more information. If you know of a useful resource, just send it to Nancy Ooki, Extension Disaster Education Network (EDEN) point of contact for the state of Hawai‘i, who created and is maintaining the site. The goal is to add as many CTAHR- and UH-created resources as possible, and Hawai‘i-specific sites and organizations are also important.
When you submit the resources to Nancy (ooki@hawaii.edu), make sure include the topic page where the resource should be posted.
Thanks for helping CTAHR help our community and stakeholders!
