In the most recent episode of the UH CTAHR Seeds of Wellbeing (SOW) Podcast, producer Jim Crum interviews Dean Parwinder Grewal of the University of Hawaiʻi’s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resilience. Nine months into his appointment, Dean Grewal shares his vision for how CTAHR’s broad expertise and land-grant mission can help Hawaiʻi become more resilient, a focus reflected in the College’s new name. The wide-ranging discussion touches on Dean Grewal’s agricultural and educational background, his path to joining CTAHR, and how emphasizing Hawaiʻi’s self-sufficiency has shaped, and will shape, his work and that of CTAHR in the future.
