The college is advertising for an associate dean for Cooperative Extension. The successful candidate will provide leadership and establish goals for a relevant and effective agricultural and human resources Cooperative Extension program.
Among the responsibilities of the position are approving, monitoring, and evaluating Extension projects; creating new initiatives; coordinating interdepartmental and interdisciplinary projects; and integrating Extension policies, priorities, and programs with the associate deans for research and for academic and student affairs.
The successful candidate will also oversee the Agriculture Diagnostic Service Center; coordinate the Extension budget and allocations of State and Federal Extension funds; serve on designated college, university, and national committees related to Extension outreach programs; and maintain close communication with agriculture, natural resources, community, and family organizations to identify Extension programming needs.
