TheBus

TheBus is the primary mass transportation system on Oahu (a new rail system, the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation – HART, currently under construction, will link west Oahu to central Honolulu, beginning 2018). Maps of the bus routes between the Ala Moana Hotel and UH Manoa are shown on the right with approximate transit times. Bus fare costs $2.50 (cash, correct change only). Bus schedules for Oahu, including real-time bus arrivals, can be found here.  

Rental Car

Rental car agencies are available near the airport. From the baggage claim, please follow signs the rental car agencies. A partial list can be found here. 

Parking at UH Manoa

There is daily parking available for visitors on Upper Campus and in the Lower Campus and Dole Street Parking Structures. Pay-and-Park stalls marked in green have hourly rates shown in the map to the right. Tickets from the automated Pay Stations must be displayed at all times. 

Weekdays before 4pm:

• Lower campus - $5 flat rate
• Upper campus - $2 per 1/2 hour in green stalls

Weekdays after 4pm, Saturdays, and special events: 

• $6 flat rate
