Up in the Air

If you’ve got a drone and you know how to use it, consider participating in the UH Drone Boot Camp on Friday, March 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Les Murakami Baseball Stadium! The Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation is inviting all interested campuses, units, and/or departments to this opportunity to showcase and display their drones and their work on the use of drones in research, academics, and scholarly activities at this event. It’s free and open to the public, and it should be a lot of fun! For more information regarding this event, you can contact Dwight Takeno, senior manager of administrative services, by phone at 956-3506 or by email at takeno@hawaii.edu. Register online at the UH Drone Boot Camp site if you’re interested in operating a drone.
