Welcome to CTAHR!

On August 15 and 17, the CTAHR Academic and Student Affairs Office welcomed over 100 incoming freshmen and transfer students to CTAHR at its New Student Orientation. After a welcoming address from CTAHR Dean Rachel Navotny and Associate Dean Ania Wieczorek, students were able to meet other incoming CTAHR students in an ice breaker sessions led by CTAHR student volunteers, and met with CTAHR academic advisers to learn about the graduation requirements of their majors. Students also got a chance to meet with faculty from their respective majors. The orientation ended with light refreshments and a networking session where students were given exposure to the various CTAHR student organizations that these new students can join. Some students even signed up to join some of these clubs. Big mahalo to TPSS GSO, SOFT, Horticulture Society, Friends of the Family, Ka Mea Kolo Entomology Club, Biological Engineering Student Association, FSHN Council, Tropical Plant Pathology Club, and Pre-Vet Club for networking with our new students!
