Speed Networking with CTAHR Faculty

CTAHR’s Academic and Student Affairs Office hosted its second Student-Faculty luncheon where freshmen and transfer students from ANSC, BE, FSHN, HDFS, MBB, FDM and BE had the opportunity to chit-chat with faculty from ANSC, BE, FSHN, HDFS, MBB, and NREM.  Dean Nick, and Associate Deans Ania, Kelvin, and Jinzeng joined the festivities.  Faculty and CTAHR Administration spent 5 minutes introducing themselves to small groups of students for four rounds. During lunch, students shared their ideas about the how to increase student participation in events.  Suggestions include having mixers with upper CTAHR classmen within and outside their majors as well as meeting alumni.  Student also suggested using social media  like Instagram to engage students.  Mahalo nui to CTAHR student attendees for your valuable feedback and a big thank you to all the attendees for making this event a success!
