Working Together at The Hawai’i Agricultural Conference 2022

The Ag Conference is back on September 27th and 28th at the Hawai'i Convention Center and it’s better than ever! Why? Because CTAHR will be there. 😎 The college will have a booth open on both days of the conference and will be hosting an exciting panel on the adaptation and innovation that CTAHR has taken part in through its over 100 year history and through the pandemic. The session will also highlight some of the inventive projects and research that has taken place to bring solutions through the collaborative efforts of CTAHR faculty, extension agents, and Hawai'i farmers and will be taking place on Wednesday, the 28th, from 1:15 - 3:30 PM.\

The session is packed with speakers from across the college, including interim Dean Dr. Ania Wieczorek, Dr. Ted Radovich, Jensen Uyeda, Kylie Tavares, Shannon Sand, and students Nick Sinclair and Chynna Chun, moderated by CTAHR alumna Arby Barone.

The conference is a fantastic way to learn from, and network with, Hawai'i’s agricultural leaders and affiliates. Each day is filled with informative and thought provoking talks by various speakers across the state’s agricultural sector, with the first day ending with a delicious Pau Hana including farm to table tastings and refreshments. If you are interested in attending, the link to register is here or check out our website to view more information on the panelists & the resources related to their discussion topics. We hope to see you there!
