2020 CTAHR Day was a SUCCESS!
Our inaugural CTAHR Day was held at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa Campus Center Courtyard on January 31, 2020! CTAHR Day welcomed over 700 participants including 200+ high-school students and their teachers from W. R. Farrington and Waipahu High School, and Hawaii Tech Academy.
CTAHR Day showcased all CTAHR departments and undergraduate programs, CTAHR Cooperative Extension, and featured an “Alumni Alley”. Participants also toured the university campus, interacted with CTAHR faculty and staff, learned about what CTAHR alumni are doing in the work field, and participated in hands-on and interactive CTAHR exhibits by our CTAHR ‘Ohana!
There was a total of 29 exhibits and 128 volunteers (faculty, staff, volunteers, undergraduate and graduate students) who came together to make this event possible! Thank you to everyone for coming together and supporting CTAHR:
