This mini-workshop will include a combination of expert presentations on cleaning and sanitizing in the food industry and hands-on peer activities. This workshop is geared towards individuals with cleaning and sanitizing responsibilities.
 

What is Covered in the Workshop?

Workshop topics include cleaning and sanitizing basics, recordkeeping, clean breaks and verification, post-harvest handling, and sanitizer label review.
Multiple hands-on activities are planned for this event including:
  • Sanitizer dilutions, monitoring, and verifying concentrations
  • Verifying cleaning and sanitizing of food contact surfaces
  • Organic load impacts on sanitizers and turbidity mesaurements
 
No prerequisites are needed to attend this workshop.

 

Registration

Registration for this workshop includes lunch and refreshments as well as a certificate of workshop completion.
