Hawai‘i 4-H is highlighted in the National Institute for Food and Agriculture’s Annual Report, in its section on Youth Development. It notes that the organization brings STEM-enrichment activities such as rocketry to youth in the Islands and that some 500 volunteers contributed more than 40,000 hours to engage and support 3,200 youth here. It also provides a link to the Hawai‘i 4-H Website, featuring photos and stories of local 4-H impact. The website has been newly overhauled, with a fresh look and feel. A big mahalo goes to 4-H Extension agent Nancy Ooki, for her leadership in the renovation of the site!.
