Cost
Registration fees includes the professional development institute, materials, lodging, meals, and course credit. It does not include travel expenses to and from UHM.
- The cost for Non-Hawai‘i residents is $3000
- The cost for Hawai'i Department of Education (DOE) teachers is $0. State of Hawaii's Department of Labor and Industrial Relations has generously provided funding to support the UHM CASE Training Program
Payment
UHM will invoice you for the registration fee once the minimum number of participants have been reached. Payment is due 2 weeks following the receipt of your invoice.

Cancellation
- Cancellations before April 1, 2017 will not incur a fee.
- Cancellations from April 1 to May 31, 2017 will incur a $250 fee.
- Cancellations after June 1, 2017 will incur a $500 fee.
Course Credit
Hawaii Department of Education (DOE) teachers will have the option to earn 3 PD credits that can be used for reclassification purposes. A portfolio will be required. Prior approval from teacher's principal or supervising administrator will be needed to use this course for reclassification. More information regarding the course and section number for PDE3 will be sent out to all Hawaii DOE teachers once the CASE Institute registration closes.
