About the Award

The Ka Lei Hano Award is the highest tribute of the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources. It is bestowed on friends and benefactors whose lifetime commitment and decades of service have greatly enhanced the college's efforts to support a diverse economy, healthy environment, and strong communities.

 

2018 Awardee Glenn Muranaka

The recently retired presient of Meadow Gold Dairies received the 2018 Ka Lei Hano Award on May 4. A longtime friend and supporter of CTAHR student activities, he was recognized for a lifetime of sound agribusiness leadership and civic involvement that promoted health and wellness.
