CTAHR was well represented at the Oʻahu District FFA Career Development Event (CDE) Competition held December 14 at Kāhala Elementary School.

Professor Andy Reilly and graduate student Jordan Antonio received a Paper of Distinction award at the 2024 conference of the International Textile and Apparel Association. 

Two of CTAHRʻs students in Food Science, Jace Lee and Stephan Kulani Callion-Nizo, were among the winners at the PACE INNOVATE 808 Competition.

CTSA, the Center for Tropical and Subtropical Aquaculture, recently took part in a public event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawai‘i Authority (NELHA), 

CTAHR faculty and staff from all four counties gathered at the Mānoa campus on Oct. 11, 2024, to brainstorm strategies for increasing the productivity, sustainability, and community focus of agriculture and economic development in Hawaiʻi.
