The Dietetics BS integrates the principles of food, nutritional, and biomedical sciences and human behavior and culture to analyze and design appropriate diets that promote health and prevent disease. The coursework meets the academic requirements for dieticians established by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. A dietetic internship or approved intern program is required to become a Registered Dietitian.
