‘Paws’itively Amazing

ASAO is supporting fun and exciting events designed to give students the opportunity to develop a deeper connection with faculty members and their peers. We hope to enhance students’ sense of belonging to their department and ultimately increase retention of students. On April 21, the Animal Science department hosted a “Paint Your Pet” event. 30 current and potential ANSC undergraduates and faculty attended, and started the evening with an open discussion focused on effective recruitment and retention in the ANSC program. Painting soon followed with a class led by an art instructor from Honolulu’s Wine & Design.
