Recruitment on the Move

Student Support Specialist, Mandy Chen, represented CTAHR at Roosevelt High School’s College and Career Fair.  Over the course of five sessions, 750 students met with over 100 colleges, companies and organizations.  Of the 30 students that stopped by our CTAHR table, Animal Science, Biological Engineering and Human Development and Family Studies were the most popular majors.

Student Ambassador Mark Oandasan (FDM) reached out to a class of 30 students enrolled in Farrington High School’s Student Leadership Course. As an alumnus, he highlighted his current role in helping produce this year’s UHM Fashion Show and also presented on the many opportunities available at CTAHR.

Do you know of any high school college fairs we should attend?  Please forward invitations to chenm@ctahr.hawaii.edu.
