CTAHR Student Lounge Going Strong

We’re about half-way through the semester, and the CTAHR student lounge is still being heavily utilized. Especially as midterms approach, many students are dropping by to study and grab a snack. Since the lounge opened, almost 150 CTAHR undergrads have visited a total of 739 times. We’ve been asking students what brings them to the lounge: nearly 66% come to study and about 32% cited visiting to get some food.

Thank you so much to those who have already donated to our lounge. Students are very appreciative of the quiet space to work and refuel and the data shows that the lounge and food pantry are needed!

We’re working towards securing funding to expand the food pantry, but we would still greatly appreciate food donations. We’re also very excited that the Hydroponics Station is now producing regularly. Please encourage CTAHR students to come harvest some lettuce and, soon, some tomatoes will be ready as well!
