1 Donor Saves 3 Lives!

On Friday, February 24, 2023, 32 CTAHR students, faculty, staff, and greater University of Hawai’i at Manoa members donated blood to the Blood Bank of Hawai’i. The event was the largest Blood Drive this semester! The CTAHR Student Ambassadors came together and provided each donor with a goodie bag playfully stating, “Say Bai Bai to your blood”, with each bag including one Bai beverage and a variety of sweet and salty snacks. Three raffle prizes were put together with the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources Swag and Ko Hāna Chocolates to thank individuals for donating their blood. The event was an immense success and the CTAHR Ambassadors hope to sponsor more blood drives in the future.
