CTAHR Alumni & Friends Hosts Kokedama Workshop

Our first ever Kokedama Workshop was a hit! On Sunday, January 22nd, the CTAHR Alumni Association & Friends hosted a workshop for 32 eager Alumni, students and community friends to learn how to create kokedama (English translation - moss ball).  Led by CTAHR Alumna, Aleta Corpuz, participants chose from an array of ornamental plants to gently mold and wrap into "no pot" style arrangements to take home.  Thanks to Aleta’s easy, “no worries” approach to the process, everyone was successful in their endeavor to create a beautiful, and functional, kokedama.

The CTAHR Alumni Association & Friends are looking forward to bringing you more exciting workshops in the future so stay tuned!  Pictures can be viewed on CTAHR's Flickr.
