CTAHR Launches Students to New Careers!

To increase our professional development efforts, we have created the CTAHR CareerLaunch - a monthly virtual series offering our undergraduate and graduate students the chance to hear from companies about their mission, values, possible career opportunities, and their requirements for internships and full-time employment. 167 participants had the chance to hear from the following: Kevin Kelly with North Shore EVP, Stacie Sasagawa and CTAHR Alumni Mark Dragich with Bayer, Hawaii, Dr. Christian Giardina with US Forest Service, CTAHR Alumnae Kent Dumlao and Jordie Ocenar with Hawaii Department of Agriculture, Mark Stoutemyer with Corteva AgriScience, Nick Wong with Beer Lab HI (entrepreneurship focus), Dr. Michael Tonge with AstraZeneca, and Lydi Bernal with the Hawaii Public Health Institute.

Career Launch will be back in the fall so make sure to watch out for more exciting career opportunities next semester.
