Ala Moana Hotel

The official hotel for the NACTA conference is the beautiful Ala Moana Hotel. The Ala Moana Hotel is conveniently located near Ala Moana Beach Park, Waikiki, and is two-and-a-half miles from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa.

The Ala Moana Hotel offers innovative onsite features to ensure your comfort, including: a fitness center with sauna and steam room, a sparkling swimming pool with a spacious sundeck, an infinity mini spa, laundry facilities, dry cleaning services, a lounge, and a gift store selling apparel and sundries.

University of Hawaii at Mānoa Dormitories

Frear Hall, opened in 2008, provides students with a housing option that combines community and independent living. All rooms reserved for NACTA have individual bedrooms (none of the bedrooms are shared). The double units share a common bath located between the two bedrooms. Fifty rooms have been reserved for four nights.

The rates for four nights (including linen, etc.), are:

Single (14 bedrooms reserved): $300 for four nights
Double (36 bedrooms reserved): $250 for four nights

Frear Hall features lounges, laundry rooms, and a game room. Guests may purchase weekly passes to UH Manoa’s new Warrior Recreation Center for $10. The fitness center is located next to Campus Center and includes an indoor running track, a Skywall rock wall, plate loaded equipment, cardio machines, basketball and volleyball courts.
