Hawai'i’s invasive species range from tiny viruses to large mammals, and every day we risk the introduction of new, harmful organisms. UH Mānoa CTAHR Cooperative Extension is actively identifying, describing, studying, and responding to these invaders. When efforts to prevent or eliminate a new pest fall short Extension faculty are there to educate our residents and visitors so we can limit the damage these organisms cause to individuals, communities, and economies.
