ASAO Administers Scholarships on STAR

CTAHR students had a much easier time applying for the 2019/2020 scholarships, thanks in large part, to the guidance from UH Manoa's STAR team. In the past, students submitted scholarship applications for each and every scholarship that they were interested in. To solve this time consuming process, a common scholarship was created which allowed students to submit one application for all of the ASAO administered scholarships. 

The entire application process is now completely online. Faculty and staff received links, by email, so that they can upload Letters of Recommendation directly into the Scholarship portal and the student's application. Students are able to monitor their application status online and be able to follow up with referrer's as needed, until the application is 100% complete. The 2019/2020 scholarship application closed on Friday, February 15th and students will be notified by mid April.
