Sustainable CTAHR at the Sustainability Showcase

CTAHR was invited to the Honolulu Community College’s first ever Sustainability Showcase.  The purpose of this showcase was to promote environmental awareness and responsibility, share sustainable practices, introduce “green” technologies and career opportunities, and bring the campus and community together to showcase their contributions toward a sustainable future. ASAO Graduate Assistant Kauahi Perez  returned to her Alma Mater to promote CTAHR and recruit students by sharing about CTAHR’s numerous sustainability initiatives and projects. Over 100 students, counselors, parents, and grandparents stopped by the CTAHR booth to inquire about our different programs. As predicted, TAE and NREM programs were the most popular, but students inquired about the other CTAHR programs as well. ASAO wishes a warm and heartfelt mahalo to all of the wonderful sustainability projects in which CTAHR takes part!!!
