All Around Recruitment

To support our relationship with our community college campuses and encourage transfer to our four-year programs, our CTAHR advisors attended transfer days at the UH community colleges on O'ahu. The purpose of these events was to meet with prospective transfer students and discuss their matriculation into CTAHR programs. Our team made great contacts with community college staff, faculty, and of course students! In addition, CTAHR departments are doing a great job getting involved with recruitment at local schools. CTAHR Ambassador Cody Ching, Dr. Jenee Odani, Dr. Birendra Mishra, and Dr. CN Lee visited classes of the new McKinley High School Animal Sciences program. Dr. Daniel Owens participated in the Dole Middle School Career Fair, encouraging over 100 young students to consider higher education in their futures. Lastly, CTAHR was visited by a group from Baldwin High School that got a quick tour of CTAHR's on-campus programs and met with numerous faculty.
