Flies under castor bean

Welcome to the Shikano Lab!

We study insect behavior and trophic interactions in agricultural systems using multidisciplinary approaches. Research areas include insect mating behaviors, host-plant choices, movement within agro-ecosystems and interactions with natural enemies. Our goal is to leverage basic ecological knowledge to develop sustainable pest management strategies.
