A Small-Scale Pesticide Application Demonstration is being held at the Poamoho Research Station on Saturday, September 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. This field day will familiarize participants with a variety of small-scale pesticide-application equipment and will provide information on sprayer calibration techniques and selecting the right application equipment for the job, instruction on pesticide calculation for small-scale application and selecting the appropriate surfactant for enhanced spray coverage, and demonstration of proper Personal Protective Equipment selection and maintenance.
