A Small-Scale Pesticide Application Demonstration is being held at the Poamoho Research Station on Saturday, September 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. This field day will familiarize participants with a variety of small-scale pesticide-application equipment and will provide information on sprayer calibration techniques and selecting the right application equipment for the job, instruction on pesticide calculation for small-scale application and selecting the appropriate surfactant for enhanced spray coverage, and demonstration of proper Personal Protective Equipment selection and maintenance. It counts toward HDOA Pesticide Applicator CEU. Seating is limited; to register online, go to this Eventbrite link. The deadline to register is September 15, and the registration fee is $10/person.
