Associate Dean Ania Wieczorek and the Saturday Gene-iuses program, and the “Wow Factor” that they promote in kids, are featured in the Good Neighbor column of Midweek Magazine. It’s good timing, because registration is now open for the program, which will start up again in the fall. Last year, about 2,000 students got to enjoy the fun hands-on science curriculum that the Gene-ius program offers though a variety of formats: school field trips, the series of Saturday classes, and a special summer program. Even better, the program has expanded so that now it serves all grades from first through twelfth! Check out the program website for more information or to register your keiki for this great opportunity!
