The Waimanalo Research Station will be the home base for the 3rd Annual Parade of Farms, presented by the O‘ahu Resource and Conservation Development Council, on Saturday, May 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This year’s parade will be featuring farms in Waimanalo, so where better to gather than the place that provides help to the other farms? The Station will feature an information fair, keiki activities, and other farm experiences, while seven guided tours will take attendees to farms in the area for unique experiences and to meet local producers. Featured farms and nurseries include Frankie’s Nursery, Manoa Chocolate, Plant Hawaii, the GoFarm Hawai‘i student plots, ‘Nalo Farms, Kanu Farms, Yogarden, Waimanalo Country Farms, and Therapeutic Horsemanship of Hawaii. Tickets are available at this Eventbrite site—don’t miss it!
