The Science Zone

“In Your Head with Professor Ted” airs this Friday (and next)

The Science Zone

Since 2019, Ted Radovich has been conducting science interviews as part of the “Science Zone” segment on his radio show, “In Your Head with Professor Ted,” which airs this Friday 9-12 on KTUH.

Ted’s show, which is supported by producer Mikey Kantar (both of the Dept. of Tropical Plant and Soil Sciences), has interviewed more than 50 scientists on different projects related to Hawaiʻi and the world. All previous interviews are available on Soundcloud.

The interviews focus on what drives scientists to do their work and what leads them to choose their topics. “In your head with professor Ted” averages ~3000 weekly listeners and, in addition to science examples, it also highlights Hawaiian and world music.

Don’t let your science collect dust on a shelf! Get it out there to the general public! Interested in presenting your science? Contact Mikey at mbkantar@hawaii.edu.
