The 2025 Hawaiʻi Conservation Conference was a proud moment for the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resilience (CTAHR), with strong representation from alumni, students, Extension, and faculty. Numerous alumni from the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management (NREM) were in attendance, actively contributing to sessions, poster presentations, and agency representation throughout the event.
CTAHR’s presence extended beyond participation—CTAHR Extension hosted a booth, sharing resources and highlighting community-based conservation efforts. Attendees were greeted by familiar faces from multiple agencies and organizations across the state, many of whom are proud CTAHR alumni. From environmental planning to sustainable agriculture, ecological restoration, and fashion design, the impact of CTAHR’s diverse academic programs was evident in nearly every corner of the conference.
The event underscored CTAHR’s ongoing commitment to preparing future leaders and collaborators in conservation and sustainability. Mahalo to all who represented the CTAHR ʻohana with pride!
