HDFS Students Present to the Hawaiʻi State LGBTQ+ Commission

Our CTAHR ʻohana are advocates for creating more resilient families and schools. Five students from the Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) program—Sarah Ireland, Athena Huynh, Trisha Gilmete, Kelee Aizawa-Smith, and Nicholas Rulon—recently showcased their vital research on the absence of LGBTQIA+ sex education in Hawaiʻi’s public schools.
