Isle Welcomes Isele

Eli Isele is the new assistant Extension agent in sustainable agriculture in Hilo. Isele holds a BS in general agriculture from the University of Missouri and an MS in sustainable development practice from the University of Florida. He has extensive practical working experience with all types of agriculture, from a conventional macadamia nut operation on the Big Island to two organic vegetable farms in Wisconsin. He also served in the Peace Corps in Malawi, focusing partly on beekeeper outreach.
