The Food Science MS program in Human Nutrition, Food and Animal Sciences has been awarded four non-resident tuition exemption awards for the academic year 2018–2019. The exemptions, which are allocated in competition with other graduate programs at UH Manoa, allow non-resident students to pay much lower in-state tuition. They are effective for two years, saving each eligible student about $28,000 in tuition. These awards will help the Food Science program recruit high-quality graduate students from the Mainland and from other countries.
