Awarded…Again

Next week, the Joint Western Directors Summer Meeting will be held in faraway Fairbanks, Alaska, and will include an awards ceremony that will honor, among others, Yanghua He of the Dept. of Human Nutrition, Food, and Animal Sciences.

Yanghua, as the 2024 recipient the W-APS Regional New Teaching Award, is being recognized for her exceptional commitment to teaching and student success. Congrats!

This past April during the CTAHR ʻOhana Banquet, Yanghua also received the 2024 CTAHR Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching – Honorable Mention, for her “passion for education and willingness to go above and beyond” and her “ability to connect with and inspire students.” Her students “also appreciate her thoughtfulness in getting to know them as individuals.” Congrats again!
