Ka Hana Poʻokela – Undergraduate Student

Angelina is a member of the Horticulture Society, SOFT and C.A.R.P. She works well in teams that promote interests and involvement in horticultural science and plant production in all stages from planting and growing, including selling to raise funds for the club, and cleaning up after events.

Angelina works very hard in her classes and it shows. She is also a very sweet and genuine person, always kind and supportive, but also pushes her friends to work harder in school and holds them accountable. 

She lives in Makaha, but does not have a driver’s license or anyone to drive her, so every day she buses three hours to get to UH and back. This is devotion. Her friends are grateful to have met her because of the great example she sets. She is a model student who is always willing to help and support anyone who needs it.
