An Entire Pallet!

Hunger hasn’t gone away in the islands of Aloha, but thanks to the generosity of CTAHR faculty and staff, it can be temporarily addressed.

For this year’s UH Food Drive, the CTAHR ‘ohana contributed 562 lbs. of food donations and more than $1,500 in monetary donations. In fact, the food donations from CTAHR alone filled up an entire warehouse pallet!

“Thank you all for the overwhelming outpour of support and generous donations for this year's Food Drive,” say Christie Nitta and Tihani Buntin of HR. “And congratulations to our CTAHR Food Drive winners! You receive awesome Edible Arrangements!”

• Team #9 – Office of Academic and Student Affairs – provided the highest weight of food donations
• Team #11 – Office of the Dean, Office of Research, Office of Planning and Management Systems, and Office of Communication Services – provided the highest amount of monetary donations.
