Congrats to Cara Yoshimi, a senior undergrad in the Fashion Design and Merchandising Program in the Dept. of Family and Consumer Sciences, whose latest creation was accepted by the International Textiles & Apparel Association.
Cara, also the CTAHR Stole Society President, designed a three-piece menswear look, which will be placed on exhibit at Innovate to Elevate, the ITAA’s Annual Conference set for Oct 26-29 in Denver.
“I am very proud of Cara’s achievement and excited to see her garments exhibited at the international conference" said Minako McCarthy. “Cara’s achievement positively impacts the FDM community and program, and helps motivate other students in their future creations.”
