Speakers from CTAHR will briefly describe recent food business projects, followed by a moderated discussion about the challenges and benefits of building a food business in Hawaiʻi. Come join us and learn more about CTAHR’s connection to the creation, production, and marketing of local food products.
The forum will feature:
“Hawaiʻiʻs food system depends on the development of successful businesses in farming, ranching, seed production, value-added products, and other food-related enterprises,” notes Marielle Hampton of Extension. “From finding markets to boosting profitability, research and outreach from CTAHR can play an important role in supporting the success of local entrepreneurs.”
