Faux Pas About Fashion

Apologies for some misstatements about FDM’s 53rd Annual Fashion Show in last week’s CTAHR Notes—don’t let it keep you from enjoying a “Sweet Escape” on April 28! The show will feature three junior designers, offering exciting swimwear, menswear, and dresswear designs. And showtime is 7:00–9:00 p.m., but doors open at 5:30 for VIPs and 6:00 for the general public. The show will be held at the Hawai‘i State Art Museum, a fitting venue for the works of sartorial art that will be displayed. Tickets are $50 for VIPs, $20 general admission, and only $15 for students. Pictured is a hard-working designer getting ready for the big event!

But before that, don’t miss the District Nightclub Fundraiser on Saturday, April 13, from 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., which will offer a sneak peek at some of the swimwear designs, as well as a free drink, all for just $10.
