A Great Resource

UH president recommends Sen. Schatz’s coronavirus website for economic support questions

A Great Resource

From Families First to the CARES Act to payroll relief from the U.S. Small Business Administration, new resources from the federal government appear almost every day. Each is designed to help you and your family withstand this health and economic crisis, but sometimes it’s hard to navigate the different options, who’s eligible for them, and how to access them.

In his April 2 letter to students, faculty, and staff, UH President David Lassner urges readers to visit “one of the best references I have seen”: U.S. Senator Brian Schatz’s coronavirus page, which provides easy-to-understand explanations of the many options and is being updated continuously to reflect the most recent information.
