CTAHR loves fermentation! An article in the Star-Advertiser is focused on the local pickle and kimchee company Counter Culture and its co-founder Rob Barreca (pictured), triumphantly successful graduate of the college’s GoFarm and Ag Incubator programs. The article also quotes HNFAS MS student Surely Wallace about the care and feeding of probiotic cultures and the important role they play in gut health. Surely is the winner of this year’s CTAHR Student Research Symposium Best MS Student Poster Presentation and CTAHR’s inaugural Three-Minute Elevator Pitch MS Student Presentation.
