The CTAHR Academic and Student Affairs Office welcomes the College back to the new 2023 - 2024 Academic Year! To help welcome our new incoming and first-time students ASAO worked with each of our academic departments to host program-specific New Student Orientation sessions. During the first few weeks of the Fall 2023 Semester there were a series of 5 intimate NSO events. Some common agenda items included: a specific overview of students’ program and major, an introduction to current faculty, meeting CTAHR Student Ambassadors, and more! Together with departments we were able to carefully curate a unique experience for our incoming CTAHR undergraduate students!

We are thrilled to announce and celebrate the well-deserved promotion of Maile Sing to the position of Manager of Student Services in the Academic and Student Affairs Office. Maile's journey at CTAHR has been marked by dedication, passion, and an unwavering commitment to our students, making her the perfect fit for this position.

Over 250 attendees visited the Earth Day Fair organized by the CTAHR Student Ambassadors and the Office of Sustainability. Attendees had the opportunity to visit 26 organizations and participate in activities such as plant and food security trivia, creating beeswax wraps, planting succulents, and sampling cricket chocolate "chirp" cookies. Friday, April 28 - April Cooking Show. Join FSHN Instructor Lara Hackney as we explore Thai cuisine with Pad See Ew, Thai Basil Eggplant, and Mango Sticky Rice. All free student kits have been reserved, but registration is still open if you'd like to join us on Zoom and receive the recipes!

After a three-year hiatus, CTAHR Student Showcase and Research Symposium was held on UH Mānoa campus March 27, 2023. Over 70 undergraduate and graduate students from all CTAHR departments presented their research to an audience of fellow students, faculty, alumni, and community members.
