The University of Hawaii Entomology Team (Ka Mea Kolo), attended the National Meeting of the Entomological Society of America in Denver, Colorado, and were crowned Champions of the Entomology Games Competition.

Each year, the National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Organization honors FFA members who show the utmost dedication to the organization through their desire to develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

October has been a busy month filled with lots of events!  Bayer joined us for our monthly Career Launch and provided insights on job opportunities and internships.  The FoodStack Grab and Go continued to be a hit with students, with fresh produce from the Urban Garden Center Fruit Hui and the Coalition to Stop Campus Hunger, with pantry items from Aloha Harvest and SAPFB.  FSHN Instructor Lara Hackney shared delicious Halloween themed recipes of Popcorn Balls, Witch's Fingers, and Mummy Dogs in our monthly cooking show.  Check out the recording and recipes on the CTAHR YouTube channel.  Join us next month for more opportunities
